Sobriety is our priority

LifeRing Secular Recovery is an organization dedicated to the recovery of its members from addiction to alcohol and illicit or non-medically indicated drugs. We are guided by the "Three-S" philosophy:

- Sobriety. We believe that successful recovery depends upon the Sobriety Priority. We do not drink or use, no matter what.

- Secularity. We welcome people of all faiths and of none.

- Self-Help. In LifeRing, we believe that the power to recover lies within each of us, and our group functions to assist and reinforce each member’s efforts to recover. We aim to provide a supportive and positive environment in which each member can develop his or her own optimum recovery program.
